Hello, I’m Daniel Yang.
An industry practitioner, learning to ask better questions.
Understanding problems from different sides
My experience spans quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical service and sales for equipment, and industrial valve applications. My current work involves technical training and presales support across pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and cosmetics.
These roles have given me different views of the same questions: what a customer needs, how a technical solution is chosen, and how understanding becomes useful in practice.
What I am exploring
I follow developments in pharmaceutical and industrial applications, and how they influence customers and suppliers. I also explore practical uses of AI, starting with specific tasks such as product selection and knowledge workflows.
My questions increasingly connect technical choices with business outcomes: how to define a useful problem, make a workflow repeatable, and evaluate whether a change helps the people doing the work.
Why this notebook exists
Brief exchanges show only a small part of a person. I want a place to develop thoughts more fully, record what I learn from work, and leave room for those views to change.
This is a personal notebook of observations, practice and reflection. I hope the writing gives you a sense of the questions I care about and how I try to understand them.
